Title: We all have a story
Post by: hopealways on June 26, 2017, 07:20:58 PM
Why me?
I have asked myself this question often not just about my relationship with my BPDx but with many other difficulties that come up in my life. Makes you sad thinking that you are alone in this world with this problem that seems to never go away.
Then I read about the difficulties others have and realize I am not alone. Everyone has challenges. We all have a story. Don't get down on yourself. Life has its peaks and valleys and that is totally normal. Hang in there.

Hi moving4ward,

I agree.  We're not alone.  We are all on a journey and many of us will experience similar difficulties at different times on this road.  The trick is to look at the path we've taken and see if it looped back to similar junctions over and over.  If so, we maybe need to take a different turn to the one we've selected out of habit/fear/other blocks we hold inside of ourselves.  Until we take out of a situation what we need to then we can go in circles.  Could I be so bold as to reframe your question?

'What can I learn from this?'

Much more empowering and allows you to feel more in control of what you do with that knowledge and how it is applied to your benefit in the future.
