Title: Introduction
Post by: Mybestfriend on July 09, 2017, 03:35:46 AM
Hi there, I'm new so here's my introduction. I think my oldest daughter might have BPD. She's not diagnosed, she doesn't want to be diagnosed and she doesn't see a therapist. I'm a single mom of three. Both my oldest children live by themselves in the same town my youngest and I live in. I have been reading "stop walking on eggshells" and it really hits home. One of the most important things I learned is that I take it all way to personally and that my reactions trigger her to act out. So I really hope I'll do better in the future and that I learn to keep my cool. Thank you for this environment, I'll hope we can all learn a lot from eachother.

Is your DD working?  It can be hard not to take it personally, how is she acting out?
