Title: XBPDh ... A "changed man"
Post by: Teereese on July 09, 2017, 04:51:46 PM
I have been divorced from xBPDh for a little under 1 1/2 years, NC since Sept 2016, LC (issues with children only) since 12/15.

My daughter has opted not to have him in her life. She is in counseling to work through issues.

Her father reached out to her because he is a changed man! He is in Narcotics Anonymous, counseling, sees psychiatrist, etc. Two minutes into conversation, he tells her he was arrested for DUI recently. Good news! He enrolled in Alcohol Education program and had an ignition interlock put in his vehicle and will avoid the charge on his record all he has to do is complete the program. He goes on to tell her how he drives his replacement's vehicle when he is drinking because it doesn't have a device installed. He was proud that he is beating the system ... .

DD spoke up and asked him why he would share this with her. She tells him he hasn't changed in her view and should not be bragging about his actions. She pretty much lets loose and tells him this is a good example of why she doesn't want him in her life.

His reply to her ... ."F off"
