Title: My issues affecting my fiancé
Post by: Ariemtl on July 12, 2017, 10:27:18 PM
It's almost 7 weeks before my wedding and my fiance and I keep fighting I have some tendencies of Borderline and I see things in black and white, I have an anger management issue and feel I split too!

When an issue arises I feel I clench up and feel the need to run but sometimes I can't run and staying equals a big blowout where my fiance feels the need to always finish my thoughts and psychoanalyze my actions... (No she is not a therapist but as she keeps saying well read)  Yes my problem is I react then 5 min later I realize my wrong but by then it's too late!

I have just begun seeing a Therapist and it is helping... .

My question is what do you do when you feel the need to say something but have yet to fully understand what the sittuation is and see black and white. So what can I do before reacting?

My fiance wanted me to take this test and the results did not come out as she planned then she tells me I have borderline issues because I feel empty that my father passed away and I feel sad that he won't be at my wedding.

Please take the test for yourself and see:

Hi Ariemtl,

*welcome*

I'd suggest to talk to a P ( Psychologist ) if you think that you might have BPD, that being said, I'm not BPD and I have been stuck in twisted thinking before, what your partner is describing is mind reading. My advice is, you can have general ideas of a situation, the trap is making assumptions, ask questions :)Ihope that helps.
