Welcome to bpdfamily I'm sorry what you are dealing with your daughter, many of us are in similar situations, you are not alone. I'm in the UK, others may have personal insights for facilities in Virginia, Maryland, or DC area, also it's worth making contact with NAMI and/or NEA-BPD, I hope you find suitable treatment soon. My DD's attended outpatients DBT skills group and therapy the last 14 months and is making very good progress, things can get better it's small, gentle steps and patience. It must be very worrying the severe eating disorder are they recommending inpatient treatment, you say your DD may be open to that, is good. Is you daughter living at home? They provide inpatient and outpatient services for eating disorders and BPD. They are highly respected and associated with Johns Hopkins.
