Title: Audio Hallucinations
Post by: badknees1 on August 08, 2017, 06:29:51 PM
My wife has diagnosed BPD but is currently not in any therapy for this, only under care of psychiatrist who prescribes Prozac and Webutrin. Often she tells me she will hear her phone ring then when it stops ringing, she will still hear
it in her brain. This also happens with music or dialogue from a TV show we watch. It makes it hard for her to go to sleep or back to sleep. I called it audio hallucination because I have no other way to describe it. it's like an immediate flash back of the sound and it really bothers her. it's not voices in her head though. any ideas?

Wellbutrin can cause ringing in the ears (tinnitus). Not sure about Prozac.
