Title: Are there other personality disorders associated pregnancy entrapment than BPD Post by: Newyoungfather on August 10, 2017, 04:30:51 AM Good Morning Everyone,
As I am slowly recovering from this BPD relationship I'm starting to learn all the red flags I was oblivious to. One of the items my un-diagnose exBPD told me is that she tried to get pregnant in the first 4 days of meeting me. Are there any other personality disorders associated with pregnancy entrapment besides BPD. I am reading as many books as possible and I want to be pointed in the right direction. I know I can not or no one on this forum is capable of diagnosing her without ever meeting her, I can only use reasonable logic and hopefully be pointed in the right direction, for my sons sake. It could be a lot of things, including greed.
I'm trying to co-parent with the mother of my child who I believe has borderline personality disorder. I would like to describe some of her traits/actions which I believe why she may has BPD. My intention is not to have her diagnosed/bashed online but to shed light and lead me in the right direction to co parenting skills in case she does have BPD. Have you looked at the tools in the top menu bar. That's a place to start. What has been going on since the pregnancy and the breakup. What is you relationship with her like. Is she involved with someone - is he interfacing with you? I don't think that you have to look far, this isn't about a disorder, even if it were it's about our boundaries. I had an unplanned pregnancy too with someone that displays traits of BPD, I trusted that she had really taken the pill, but I should have worn protection anyway.
A red flag would be a partner not wanting you to take precautionary measures against pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, escalating things quickly to physical intimacy, you have to ask yourself what's your boundary when it comes to unprotected sex? She has gotten involved with someone else shortly after I filed for custody. It's been hell fighting her in court with all the false allegations. She decided to take my sperm after sex and impregnate herself in the bathroom. If you are concerned about your sperm is on your partner before it can be removed with the lights off. You might be in a toxic relationship. Because I was there.
