Title: BPDs Who Spit at You?
Post by: FlawedDesign on August 12, 2017, 02:10:24 PM
Hi,

How common is spitting (not "splitting" as BPD behavior?  My BPD/NPD spouse rages quite regularly, and then finishes up each episode by spitting in my face.  He is usually only a few inches from my face anyway while he rages.  Sometimes, he throws hot coffee too, or any drink at hand.  Is this typical?

Hi FlawedDesign,

I do not know if this is a common behavior, but I do find it very disgusting and disrespectful that your husband does this to you. Has he himself ever commented on this behavior of his and how he views it?

He is usually only a few inches from my face anyway while he rages.

This is something I can definitely relate to. My uBPD older sis often does this, getting all up in your face in an aggressive manner and also pointing her finger in your face, really trying to intimidate and also provoke the other person.

Sometimes, he throws hot coffee too, or any drink at hand.  Is this typical?

When people dysregulate a lot can happen, perhaps you will find this recent discussion interesting:
