Title: could she be right, and I am the one with major issues? Post by: Lost-love-mind on August 24, 2017, 05:16:00 AM My ex BPD ended it suddenly after only 2 mos.
Now more than 2 mos later with very little contact and only after I kept attempting closure contact with her. I'm I the ogre with NPD? The reason she claimed she was done. She is a high level functioning BPD? Or not at all? Maybe just a woman scorned by 2 ex husbands, with the most recent reminding her that my momentary lapse of selfish behavior? I have started ruminating again about my behavior of interrupting her during her decompression period after her stressful labor factory job. Her texting anger, as she refused repeatedly to talk on the phone. I just don't get any of this and her bizarre name calling and personal insults directed at me in her recent emails. I knew something was just not right with a 45 yr. old woman that never had children, lived like a hermit, had no female or male friends, constantly complained about neighbors and co_workers, believed in bizarre government conspiracy theories (including NSA spying on her through her laptop), complained about electromagnetic rays from wi_fi giving her headaches and lastly kept a garden full of tall grass and weeds, dog craps everywhere, but it was in process. Oh yea, she deliberately didn't trim weeds along the fence to annoy her neighbor. And I'm still unsure if I was the one with major issues ? Title: Re: New here...don't know where to start Post by: Tattered Heart on August 24, 2017, 12:23:26 PM Are you hoping to rekindle the relationship?
Have you thought about seeking out a professional to help you determine whether or not you exhibit signs of a personality disorder yourself? I know at times being in a relationship with someone with BPD can cause the partner to act the same. It is also possible for 2 people with BPD to be in a relationship. You did describe some rather odd behavior from your SO. It's possible there could be some co-morbidities in regards to mental illness. Then again, belief in conspiracy theories are very popular. My H believes quite a few (and I believe some of them also). Without an actual diagnosis from a professional, there really is no way to know. Also, let's ignore what she may or may not have done or the why's behind it all. Do you think that you have issues?
