Title: Don't know what to do to help my child Post by: bpdteenmom333 on September 05, 2017, 10:35:39 AM Hello all. I am the mom of a 17 yr old with traits of BPD. We have been dealing with her illness for about two years now. In the last 2 years, she has been hospitalized twice, cut her wrist and taken pills twice. She had to leave school and was trying to go to online high school but that also was something she was struggling with. She says she doesn't see herself ever getting any better and she's just exhausted from it all. It's so difficult just watching her suffer and not knowing how to help her. I feel guilty whenever I feel like I need a break (which I have not taken) but I'm not sure how much more I can handle right now. Any and all support and advice will be greatly appreciated.
