I have an adult, 35 year old daughter who clearly displays BPD traits. It has been very difficult as she has been manipulating my husband and me. She is now engaged to be married next year which is bringing a new set of problems. My daughter has also seen a therapist for years who does not help with the situation, but seems to make it worse. Welcome to the forum, I'm glad you found us. I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. How has your daughter been manipulating you and your husband? Has your daughter divulged stuff about her therapy or are you just noticing escalated negative differences in her behaviour? A wedding - yikes. Stressful! LP |
