Title: Dallas now has a shelter dedicated to male domestic violence survivors Post by: Meili on September 22, 2017, 11:18:59 AM The majority of this does not apply to the majority of the board because they are based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but there is also a US national hotline that provides information and resources. In case anyone needs the information:
The Family Place in Dallas now has a shelter dedicated to male survivors. Additionally, Hope’s Door New Beginning Center and The Family Place provide counseling to male survivors of domestic violence as well. https://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/editorials/2017/06/14/family-place-just-battered-women https://www.hopesdoorinc.org/counseling/ The National Domestic Violence Hotline also provides services. A few other helpful links can be found at the bottom of this page: www.thehotline.org/2014/07/men-can-be-victims-of-abuse-too/ Title: Re: Dallas now has a shelter dedicated to male domestic violence survivors Post by: Skip on October 15, 2017, 05:00:48 PM Interesting.
