Hello,
I was looking for online support groups for those of us with BPD in our family, and found this group. My husband has BPD-but it went unrecognized until just a month or so ago. We will have been married two years this month, and to be honest, I'm not sure if we'll stay married. We've been in counseling separately and together for about a year. The stress is overwhelming, and there's been a total lack of communication. Honestly it would take much longer than one post to talk about everything, but... .I don't know what to do. So here I am.

Welcome ladyethyme *welcome*

You've found a great place for support and help. Has the counseling helped? Is it marriage counseling or DBT?

We have a lot of great resources that can help you begin to work on improving communication with your pwBPD. Your can find a variety of workshops and lessons on the right side of the page.

To get you started here is one of our workshops on The Dos and DOn'ts of a BPD Relationship  (https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=62266.0)

Hi ladyethyme,

*welcome*

I'd like to join  C<||| Tattered Heart and welcome you to bpdfamily, I'm glad that you decided to join us, I think that many members can relate with having to get a lot off of their chest when they arrive here. It takes time to get everything out, there's no rush, work at your own pace.

Your doing separate counseling which is good, what's your support network like in real life, do you spend time with family and friends?

Welcome, ladyethyme!  Can you give us an example of a situation that you wish could have gone better with your husband?
