Title: The mistake for me was thinking that I could have a stable relationship

I think the mistake for me was thinking that I could have a stable relationship with a person with BPD traits especially when they weren't willing to have them treated.

Also my previous relationship was with a man who had NPD/ASPD traits so I've not had a normal relationship yet.

I think we all made that mistake at some point or another.  When and how did you realise that was not the case?

I'm sorry to hear that you've only had disordered relationships thus far.  That takes some getting up from.  How are you working with this?  I'd imagine it is both appealing and a little scary to imagine experiencing a healthy r/s as it is a journey into the unknown.  What learning will you take with you from your experiences?
