Title: Introduction Post by: ohanaaaah on November 25, 2017, 02:56:27 PM Hello,
We are eager to connect with others who work tirelessly to be the best support system to someone who has BPD traits. Our teenager has had emotional issues for years and is just coming to grips with an understanding that many traits are aligned with BPD. We are just beginning to read "Walking on Eggshells" and coming to grips ourselves with how to create a positive home environment and not lose ourselves in the process. We look forward to future conversations. Title: Re: Introduction Post by: wendydarling on November 26, 2017, 04:05:03 AM Hello ohanaaah

*welcome* I'd like to join wendydarling and welcome you to the community! The fact that your teenager is coming to grips him/herself with the possibility of BPD is a great step, in my opinion. It can be very difficult to accept sometimes; whereas, for some, it can feel like relief. How is your child reacting to the possibility? What behaviors have been the most challenging for you, and for which you need the most support and maybe new skills? I look forward to reading your posts. We're here for you. heartandwhole |
