Thanks for everyone sharing their experiences. I have been out of R/S for a couple of yrs but every once in awhile I think of her. Visiting BPD fam helps me realize my situation. Stay strong!

Hi Beachguy and welcome

I'm glad you decided to post.  Would you like to share a little about your situation and where you find yourself now?  We'd love to hear from you and perhaps your experience can also help others too.  It helps to talk about these things and get them out there with others who can relate.  Do you consider yourself healed from the r/s now?

Love and light x

I don’t consider myself healed. I am much better but a changed person. It effected my life for awhile prob to long. I know I dodged a bullet and she is someone else’s problem now.

It would be great if you felt able to share your story.  Personally I find writing down thoughts and feelings is very cathartic.  Have you had the help of a therapist?  What things have helped you in detaching?
