Title: Thank you for all your help Post by: zachira on December 25, 2017, 05:45:20 PM For the first time in my life (I am 64 years old.), I am spending Christmas all alone, because my BPD brother for no apparent reason told me I am unwelcome to come spend Christmas at my 97 year old mother's house. Mom who is BPD is terribly upset, that I am not coming. I have spent 2 months crying off and on. Despite today being Christmas Day, I am feeling grounded, and confident. Over the past few weeks, it has helped me tremendously to read everybody else's posts, and I no longer feel alone in dealing with the problem of having a BPD mother, and two siblings with BPD. I now feel that I can set the boundaries that I have to, and can move on with my life without being overwhelmed by my BPD family members. Thank you to everyone and Merry Christmas to you all!
