Title: Happy New Year Family
Post by: Turkish on December 31, 2017, 10:59:09 PM
To newbies, lurkers,  veterans and anyone in-between, best wishes for healing and dealing in the new year to us all

Hug those you want to hug,  but hug yourself tighter,  because you deserve it, no matter what anyone else says or thinks

The illegal fireworks in my part of town (the 'hood) are thus far disappointing.  2 more hours for me on the Left Coast.  Lily The Chihuahua (aka "Worthless Beast" who lets the stray cats and mice eat her food) is still in her shelter, not jumping on my lap for comfort yet.  I'm going to eat homemade tamales from ex-MIL and turn in before midnight.

Good to see you back Harri!

I'm late to the party but want to wish everyone a Happy New year too!  :)

And yes, I agree with the wolf: hug yourself often and first. We need it. Self care is beyond important for us survivors.

Hug myself... .I'm remembering Ralph Malph hugging himself in the intro to Happy Days (or was it Potsie?)  :)
