Title: Conflicted Post by: Portent on January 24, 2018, 11:51:03 AM Long story short I'm conflicted about something I know. We are in a custody fight and I have basically been sitting on what would be huge information in my entire state related to my ex. If I were to tell people she may well lose her job and be forced to leave the state. I dont want our son to have to travel between homes. But at the same time its damn hard to keep quite about this. It would be major news in our state the would go all the way up to the governor.
I dont really know what course top take. Title: Re: Conflicted Post by: kells76 on January 25, 2018, 11:18:15 PM Hi Portent, I don't think we've met yet, so I'm not sure -- do you have a lawyer?

It sounds like the information you have would create a lot of drama and conflict. Are you wondering how that would impact your health and well-being? The health and well-being of your kids? It sounds like the information you have would create a lot of drama and conflict. Are you wondering how that would impact your health and well-being? The health and well-being of your kids? Yes I mean she would have to leave the state. You have no idea how much of a scandal this would be. The governor has been implementing a very very very unpopular budget plan. I cant get into specifics but basically the plan originated from a major private company in my state. The President of the company has put his name to it but the public has no idea that it was my ex-wife who actually put the plan together. She worked on it from home and told me all about it. The problem of course is that everyone at said company and the state thought she was a Harvard MBA. She wasn't. I really doubt she has an MBA at all much less one from Harvard. She really is just a grifter conwoman. During our dissolution my mom, CPA, really started to question if she had a Harvard MBA because the financial stuff she was sending my mom looked worse than if "it was done by a high-school book keeper". Did a check with the Harvard registrar and sure enough no Harvard MBA. I kept it secret and haven't at all brought it up in the custody battle. But the company now knows that she doesn't have a Harvard MBA, they found that out because the SEC is currently investigating the company for insider trading. I wonder who did that ;-). The SEC probably did a background check on everyone who had the insider knowledge, there weren't that many, and my ex was forced to come clean about her education or lack thereof. They haven't fired her though. It looks more like they are warehousing her, got her out of finance and gave her some meaningless job and title because if this came out the optics would be horrible. The governor would go down, the company, which is kind of teetering, would probably go down too. She would have to leave the state, maybe even the country she is an immigrant. But I dont think she could ever get a job again. Who in their right mind would hire someone who lied for close to a decade about having a Harvard education. I'm also worried about the SEC investigation. As the "person or persons" the SEC are looking for fit the description of my Ex and my replacement perfectly. My lawyer has been researching what legal duty I have as far as that is concerned. Most of the suspicious stuff I know of took place during our divorce so it is still privileged. |
