Hi my trans daughter who is 23 and lives at home, does not work, go to school or drive was diagnosed with BPD and narris disorder has ocd depression and is on medication for depression and is waiting to be part of a Stepps program apparently a waiting list.  We are worn out and overwhelmed with her and this past weekend I called 911 for the first time because her anger scared me.  I am I'm a site for transgender which I thought was the issue but I was wrong.  Someone pointed me this site for assistance and support.

*hi*   ... .and welcome Tec006!  I am glad that you have found us, but I am sorry for the situation that has brought you here.  You are indeed in the right place for finding understanding and support, as well as for finding resources to help you learn to better deal with your daughter's behaviours.  A great place to start educating yourself on these resources is the using the links on the column down the right hand side of this page  |--->

I am so sorry that you had a bad weekend; you were right to call 911 to protect yourself and set boundaries.  Believe me, everyone on this site GETS IT.  You are not alone, Tec006.  Please keep reading the experiences of others (it really does help!) as well as posting and telling  us a little more about your daughter and your situation when you are comfortable.  You are understood and in good company on this board... .    MomMae

Hi Tec006,

*welcome*

I’m sorry that you and you’re family are going through a difficult time. Calling 911 is a scary experience.

I agree with MomMae that it helps to talk to people going through similar experiences as you you’re not alone.

Have things stabilized a little bit at home?
