    My mom seems to have some BPD traits, but do not remove --->

    empathy towards others who are special-needs, but do not remove --->  


  • What are the top challenges your child is facing?

    communication in general but also communicating when she's having urges to self-harm; finding alternatives to self-harm, but do not remove --->  


  • What do you find most difficult in dealing with your child?

    getting her to be independant, but do not remove --->  


  • How would you categorize your child? Diagnosed? Undiagnosed?

    daughter is in individual and DBT, daughter and I are in family therapy, I'm in individual counseling, but do not remove --->

You are most welcome here, and I'm glad you've joined our family.  :)

Being a parent is one of the most difficult jobs in the world I think, yet it is also one of the greatest gifts as well, even with difficult children. I have one adult D who struggles with emotional regulation, and there have been many dark days of worry. Hugs to you because I know it is hard.   Take it one day at a time.
