Title: Almost a year and life just gets worse Post by: Andwereoff on March 07, 2018, 05:01:06 PM Hello, my daughter was diagnosed with EUPD last May and it just gets worse and worse - she's almost 34 and has lost everything - her job - about to lose her home and tonight she's lost her mind . We're tired and drained and at the bottom of the pit

*hi* Welcome to bpdfamily, I'm glad you've joined us here, parents understand what you are dealing with your daughter and can provide support, you are not alone. That's heartbreaking to watch her life falling away, losing job, home, it's no wonder you're tired, drained and at the bottom of the pit. What's happening tonight Andwereoff, you say she's losing her mind? Is she in treatment, reaching out for help? We are here with you. *welcome* I'd like to join wendydarling and welcome you to the family. I'm sorry to hear that. I completely understand how difficult it is when we feel emotionally spent. I'd like to echo wendydarling and say that you don't have to go through this alone it helps to share with people that understand. There is hope. It really sounds like you've gone through so much that it is too exhausting to articulate it all. I totally get that feeling of being drained and just wanting it to stop... .for us and our children. I personally used the words "emotionally, financially and physically sucked dry" to describe how I was feeling with my DD27. When and if you feel ready, the bpdfamily would listen without judgement and empathy to your story and hopefully this would enable other members to respond, providing you with guidance/tips for baby steps in moving forward to help both you and your daughter. Can you find some time in your days to do something nice for yourself, just to take your mind away for just a little while? Merlot |
