Title: Someone asked me if I'd ever considered my spouse might have a BPD Post by: Clide on March 22, 2018, 02:47:24 PM You've tried so hard for so long my friend said. That friend is a counselor now. I came to them about ten years ago concerning the high conflict-relationship I've had with my wife. This was last week. I told them my wife had filed for divorce, that I did not want it, and that it had been more than a year of waiting, praying, seeking counsel and continuing to advocate for the preservation of the marriage.
I am reluctant because, I am told if you can label a person, you can do anything to them. I am interested in how to deal with her wisely, truthfully, and with ovewhelming love. I am here because I see traits that fit BPD. I do of course want to test/confirm my inclinations most carefully. I'm sorry to hear that your wife has filed for divorce. How are you handling things? Was this a sudden decision she came to? Has she ever left before?
I am told if you can label a person, you can do anything to them. Could you explain what this means? I've never heard this phrase before. Title: Re: Someone asked me if I'd ever considered my spouse might have a BPD Post by: Mutt on March 22, 2018, 03:43:07 PM Hi Clide,
