Title: Adult son living with me again. He is nice, then screams, yells, and curses.
Post by: Gardenia16 on April 01, 2018, 02:39:34 PM
We don't fit into any above- mentioned categories.  My son is 56 yo; I am 76 yo widow. He has come back to live w/me after being removed from an apartment program where he lived for a few yrs.  Help!  It's horrible.  He will be nice and caring for a couple of days & scream & yell & curse at  me on the next.  He was diagnosed w/schizoaffective disorder.  I've been reading abt BPD and some of the traits sound like him.  He is totally dependent on me.  What do I do at this point in time?

Why was he removed from the apartment program?

I'd like to join heartandwhole and welcome you to bpdfamily. I'm glad that you have found us there is hope. I'm sorry to hear that your S56 is back home and is giving you a hard time. I'd like to echo heartandwhole why was he removed from the program if he was in it for a few years? Is he employed?  You're not alone.
