I'm snowbeard. I live with my fiancee who has BPD and want to help us both get better after it became painfully obvious that I am codependent. As I'm sure most of you here know, that pairing is a brilliant, one-way ticket to implosion. I know a fair amount about BPD, but I'm really trying to dig in now to help myself and help my SO. It's a shame that she was unlucky enough to develop these BPD traits, but I know that we can have a wonderful, happy life together if we are mindful of our behavior! How long have you been together, and what's been your greatest challenge so far? Anything specifically you know you need help with? I've been on this forum for several months now, you'll find it extremely helpful and full of caring individuals who "get it." Welcome I am curious what made it obvious you are copependant. What was the ah ha moment? I am new here, and new to the idea of co-dependant... .but I think I am too. I am only seeing it since joining here, and really trying to understand how to change what I can change to make my relationship work.
