Title: Spouse with BPD
Post by: croation123 on April 06, 2018, 06:01:05 PM
Hello,
I'm new to this group. I have a  spouse with BPD. We've been married for 23 years, but it's reaching a tipping point for me.

Hi croation123 - welcome to our bpdfamily!

23 years is a long time - have there been noticeable symptoms the whole time? Which ones are the most difficult for you?

What has brought you to the tipping point?

Would love to hear more about what's going on croation123 - we're here to help!

Good Morning!, and welcome croation123

This is a good and safe place to be, much to learn here, and talk about as well,

Please know that you are not alone in your journey, many of us here have spent decades in dysfunctional marriages and relationships, and for most of us, we had no idea why these relationships were so challenging, and exhausting, .so much hurt, and bewilderment as to why these things were happening to us, .but quite possibly the psychological phenomena of borderline personality disorder may just be the reason as to why, so now we may have a place to start, .to start to understand more, so that we can help ourselves, and thusly even maybe be able to help our significant others.

So welcome, and please tell us more when u are able, what kind of behaviors are you experiencing, what is the dynamic of your relationship, what have you done to try and curb the negative behaviors?

Again, welcome !

Red5
