Post by: supersonic on April 08, 2018, 03:01:00 AM
my daughter is 8. he was her step dad. he agreed the relationship is over. he said he wouldnt just run without speaking to my daughter. she went to bed expecting to see him this morning. within 2 hours he was gone. he will likely never see her again. in the next hour or so i need to tell her. what do i say so she doesnt blame herself? or me?

Hi Supersonic,

I'm so sorry for the late reply.  This sounds like a really distressing situation for you.     How are you doing and what happened in your conversation with your daughter?  Can you update us on what the situation is with your ex partner and yourself now?

Love and light x

I had similar situation, except daughter is soon 7 and the one who left is her mom.

I explained that she now wants to stay longer time away but will see her surely later some day.
