Title: He upped and left- how do i explain to my daughter? Post by: supersonic on April 08, 2018, 03:01:00 AM my daughter is 8. he was her step dad. he agreed the relationship is over. he said he wouldnt just run without speaking to my daughter. she went to bed expecting to see him this morning. within 2 hours he was gone. he will likely never see her again. in the next hour or so i need to tell her. what do i say so she doesnt blame herself? or me?

I explained that she now wants to stay longer time away but will see her surely later some day. |
