Title: BPD cause and/or aggravivate medical condition(s) ? Post by: Carterbc on April 19, 2018, 11:45:56 AM My wife of 20 years has been diagnosed with BPD a month ago. During our marriage she developed Atrial Fibrillation, and has had heart surgery for it. However her condition steadily gets worse. There is a genetic link, however I am just wondering how much her BPD contributed to her condition, and unless she gets treatment for BPD her heart condition will continue to get worse (all that cortisal when splitting can't be a good thing). My wife is in denial about the BPD and certainly wont tell her Heart Specialist. Am considering telling her Heart Specialist myself so perhaps the Dr. encourages her to get BPD treatment. Any thoughts anyone ?

You are in the right place. This community has a lot of experience, strength, and hope. I do not have any experience in what you are dealing with. Am separated, fm person w untreated BPD, he told me he had that when we met. We lived together for 10 years. I was always making things worse, didn't have any tools. Just found this site last year... . You can gain so many helpful tools here. Keep posting more, read here. Welcome. With hope, help, and healing, juju |
