Title: Test to see my reaction: we had dinner together
Post by: juju2 on May 10, 2018, 08:59:44 AM
Hi family,

We had dinner together last nite, at our (my)house.

It was a great time, positive, he was friendly, kind.
He said he wanted to come over to bring our animals together... .

I felt like he wanted to see what our interaction would be, and see what kind of energy we would have... .since it has been over a year since we had a meal together at the home we used to share... .

He was 30 min late, he "got the time wrong".

For me, it was a test, to see my reaction.  After waiting 25 min, all i did was text and see if he wanted to make it another time... .
The old me would have gotten a bit upset.  I wasn't upset or anything... .

So, tomorrow nite is our regular coffee meetup, he said he may have to cancel, has a lot of work to get done today.  I said, ok... .I get it, because i have a lot of work to do myself, from class.

I think we are doing real good.

Thank you family for your support, j

hi juju,

this sounds really good! not getting too caught up in expectations, which can lead to pain and disappointment. just being accepting of life and grateful for what comes.

wishing you peace, pearl.
