Title: Mood swings & sleeping
Post by: Hope2018 on May 15, 2018, 09:10:03 AM
It seems that I can always tell when "W" starts to go on a slide into depression. He becomes very picky, finding nothing good in anything, picks at me for the smallest things. What's weird is the moods almost always happen around the 15th of the mood. For the first time, in a long time he is back to sleeping all day. Honestly, I am so tired of biting my tongue in order to prevent any tension. He really needs to see a professional, but I can not convince him of it. I am at a loss. When he is good, he is really, really good. But the down mood is really bad. Do I ignore this behavior & let him come out of it on his own? Or do I attempt to his therapist to see him? Do I just leave except for sleeping at night to allow him to deal with this on his own? Please help

Hi Hope2018,

*welcome*

Can you please tell us a bit more about your relationship? How long you've been together, if you live together, etc. What other symptoms he might have? How long his depression has been going on and if he is taking medication for it?

How are you feeling?

with compassion, pearl.
