Title: Hello.
Post by: .Happygramma4 on May 22, 2018, 02:52:32 PM
Hi. I'm a married, 48 year old female. Three amazing grown children and have 4 amazing grandbabies. After all these years of knowing something was "wrong with me" , I wound up in the ER with a failed suicide attempt. It was the lowest I'd ever been. But the Dr. on the psychiatry ward finally gave me an answer. I have BPD. I'm just beginning my journey thru therapy and treatment. I'm scared to death. But was hoping to maybe talk to ANYONE that understands me. I hope I've come to the right place!

I am very sorry to hear that things are so difficult for you right now, but it is great to see you reaching out for help and support - a very brave and scary thing to do!

This site is a support group for those who are or were in a relationship with a person with BPD, so many of the posts can be triggering to a BPD sufferer. There are resources of the type you're seeking. Please check out Resources for BPD Sufferers. (https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/Themes/default/welcome3.html)

I wish you well on your journey.
