Title: when I get honest
Post by: juju2 on May 23, 2018, 10:55:27 PM
Hi family,

have noticed that this whole time that have been here, it's has been complaining.  Poor me.

know am dealing w a person who is struggling w a serious mental illness.

I have background in medical coding, so BPD is a legit dx for s.m.i.  (serious mental illness.)

My s.o. gets disability va for this.  If he had diabetes, and i was complaining about his behaviour, it would be like, get a grip! He has a disease.

Just sharing my awareness.

Sincerely, j

Hi juju2,

In my book it is only complaining if one is not willing to do something about it. I think we all have to talk this stuff out... .the key is working on ourselves and supporting others. It's okay to experience unhappiness, confusion, exasperation, etc. I hope you feel free to express that here.

I have always had the sense you are very committed to being self-aware and making personal changes. Glad to have you around to help inspire others to do the same.

warmly, pearl.
