Title: Is there always trouble around the holidays? Share woes/advice. Post by: CynValkyrie on June 17, 2018, 11:47:52 AM Hello all,
Wondering if you find your partners always seem to have trouble around the holidays? It seems to always cause trouble, no matter what I try. I used to love holidays. Now they are a source of anxiety while I try to make them enjoyable for my daughter. He will act civil and play along in front of her for the most which I appreciate. Do you find this is trouble with your significant other? Share your woes and words of advice if you have them. Title: Re: Is there always trouble around the holidays? Share woes/advice. Post by: pearlsw on June 17, 2018, 02:03:01 PM Hi CynValkyrie,
I haven't had any nice holidays in years! I'm not sure I have had a single celebration of anything this year so far... .hmmm. And last year was horrific. Well, in response I want to take a vacation on my own next month. Surprisingly, he did not resist so much, so far, but he does not have the details yet. I'm still deciding. Even under the best of scenarios he seems to have no spirit for any holidays. If I do nice things for him he likes it, usually, but... .he has no traditions or anything. He is totally devoid of any sense... .the world just spins around with no sense of time, tradition, season, anything... . What do you to do to give yourself nice times? Thanks for asking us all! warmly, pearl. |
