Can you tell us a little more about your parent? Has you parent been diagnosed with BPD? We have many resources on this web site to learn more about BPD. If you can tell us a little more about your situation, we can orient you towards what might be most helpful.

Hi Murray and welcome to the board!  I look forward to hearing more of your story but in the meantime you can check out our Library section of the site.

Here is a link to Tools and Skills Workshop (https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?board=36.0) which includes many communication strategies that can help to improve your situation as well as your understanding of the disorder.

Please ask any questions you may have.
