Title: In a long term relationship? How'd you meet your SO?
Post by: spacecadet on July 16, 2018, 07:01:01 AM
How did you meet your SO? Online dating, through friends, work or... .?
Thanks.

Online. Her profile was full of  red-flag’s, but I still pursued. I was drawn to her and believed her.

Hi, spacecadet!

I love this question because it's something I remember feeling very curious about before I met my husband.

We met when I was at work - he was a guest at a place I worked at in the hospitality industry.  Prior to meeting him I had a rule to not date guests or coworkers, but everything about him felt "yes" to me so I went with it.

Are you interested in a long term relationship?

Hopefully others will chime in and you'll see there's a lot of variety in how people in LTR's meet.

Hey JNChell no worries  *)

Good story, Insom! When you say everything said yes, would you care to elaborate? If you want to share how your r/s with your h deepened, e.g. how quickly or whatever... .I'd be interested! This is your success story. :)

I'd love to hear everyone's HAPPY r/s stories... .   :)

Hmm . . . I felt a warm, buzzy sensation when we met - almost like a vibration - that felt very soft and appealing.  We both said hello.  I felt recognition, like we recognized each other even though we'd never met.  Also, his parents were with him which made him feel safe.

It was overall a much softer, warmer experience than what I had with my BPD ex.
