Hallo everyone, my mother (with BPD traits) drove me to a point where I had to say “no more - this has to stop”!

Hi and welcome to the board!  Congratulations on taking your first step to recovery!

I am glad you found us as we can all relate to having a pwBPD (person with BPD) in our life and learning to deal with or heal the wounds that often result from such a relationship.

Was there any specific event that lead to your determination to heal?

Hi there :hi:

I would like to join Harri in welcoming you to our online community

Many of our members (including me) know how difficult it can be dealing with a BPD parent. What are the BPD traits you see in your mother? What do you consider her most difficult or troubling behaviors?

Did anything in particular happen leading you to say that it has to stop now or was it perhaps more the culmination of everything that came before?

Hope to read more of your story later. Take care

The Board Parrot

Welcome! You have come to the right place. Many of us have a BPD or NPD (or some variation) mother. Some have been diagnosed. Others have not.

How may we best help you with this first step?
