Welcome to bpdfamily :hi: I'm sorry what brings you here, parents are in similar situations with their children and understand what you are dealing with, you've come to the right place to talk and for support, we are listening - you are not alone. It's taking a toll on the family and you have learned your husband and her sister can't handle this anymore, what are they saying to you daisymom? Do you think there are there things they can do to help themselves, that may bring them some relief? Well done for learning to set boundaries with your therapist, I love your subject line 'staying strong and loving', are you familiar with other communication skills and tools you see to your right |---> they've been key to our success. Is your DD in treatment, is she aware of her struggles, does she talk to you? We're here walking with you. I would like to join wendydarling in welcoming you to our online community Has your daughter perhaps been diagnosed with any kind of disorder? Is she receiving any targeted treatment for her issues? Dealing with a BPD child can be very challenging as many of our members have experienced. The daughter you are posting about is 19 but you also mention her sister. How old is your other daughter? I am glad you joined our site and hope that posting here will help you feel less alone The Board Parrot |
