My life is nice not having any communication with her but we do have to talk. For example, last week ex wife couldn't find s11's swimming goggles, so she was texting me why they wernt in his clothes bag, she was asking such absurd questions so I just cut off communication and all along they were in s11's clothes bag but she never told me she found them, just her need to belittle and treat me like an incompetent father that can't keep track of his sons things. When s11 is out on his own it wouldn't put me out one bit to never see ex wife again.

That does sound frustrating. As you know from first hand experience, communication with pwBPD can be tricky. Have you looked at the tools for better communication? Here is a link to some communication tools that may be helpful. https://bpdfamily.com/message_board/index.php?topic=69272.0 These are about managing the conversations more effectively in order to avoid getting into these circular arguments each time you communicate. I know you may not want to communicate with your ex but since you have a child together, no doubt it will be necessary. What do you think? Hang in there! Mustbeabetterway |
