Title: 10 years married and the verbal abuse doesnt stop
Post by: Queen1988 on September 12, 2018, 10:04:23 PM
Hello there. Ive been married to my husband for 10 years. My husband shows most of the 9 traits of BPD. All the years of feeling like I am on a roller coaster of emotions in this relationship. Never communicating effectively and resolving issues. Just frustrated. Not only that the verbal and emotional abuse has just been in cycle for years. After 10 years I feel exhausted and sometimes want to give up. May I add I am a recovering codependant.

Hello Queen1988,

*welcome*

Oh my! 9 out of 10 is quite a lot! How severe are the behaviors in your estimation? What seems to bring up his mood swings? Do you notice any cycles or patterns with them?

How do you address your own codependency issues?

Be sure to read up on the lessons here to the right of the board as you have time! |---> It will help orient you to the issues and we can continue to explore this as a community with you!

wishing you peace, pearl.
