Title: hard for us both.
Post by: hopehealhealth on October 20, 2018, 02:32:40 AM
My partner and I have been together for two and a half years. We are engaged to get married next year, just signed a new lease for a beautiful house, have three fur babies together. And have plans to start a family and travel the world together. She also had BPD, I love her so much but it's so hard to see her so upset and get so mad. One minute we will be laughing the next she will be so mad that she screams so loud spit comes out of her face. She often pretends to bang her head on walls she kicks cars and throws items around the house. It hurts most when she threatens to kill herself and twists my words. I have finally convinced her to get help but I do struggle when shes hurtung. I can't even pee with the door open as she thinks I'm up to something . Does anyone have any advice I stress that her anger will get worse and that are relationship and her life is at risk.

So sorry you are enduring all this. Please take gentle care of yourself. You have the right to be safe. I highly suggest a therapist for yourself who is familiar with BPD and its impact on loved ones. Please remember that you are not responsible for your partner's moods. We all have to learn to regulate our own emotions.
