Post by: Godisable#1 on November 11, 2018, 07:30:09 PM
I love my doughtier so very much. Her BPD is so difficult and exhausting to deal with. She was a Daddy's girl. We divorceD  when she was 5. He die of cancer 2 years(2016) ago. He was her  protector and her savior! But now that he's gone she's turned to me for her dependency.  She us smart and loving, however her behavior have ran her sister, brothers and other family members away. Everything is that’s wring is because of them not her actions. The truth is that she has run them away with her negative behaviors! She can't keep a job... .others are always the blame. Now she trying to destroy my relationship with My love.   Help!

Hi Godisable#1

Welcome to the family  :hi:

I'm glad you reached out and sorry to hear your daughter is trying to destroy your relationship, having estranged her siblings with negative behaviours, some parent's are in similar situations to you, you are not alone.

Is your daughter living with you and your partner. Has your daughter a diagnosis, or aware things aren't quite right in anyway? A little more information can help parents know how to support you.

I just wanted to let you know that Love can survive this. My step daughter thinks the world would be perfect if it was just her and her dad. She has even asked him to "get rid of me" like he "got rid of mom" (Mom left him for a guy she met in rehab. He didn't
"get rid" of her).

I don't know how we're going to deal with SD. I don't know if she's going to participate in treatment. I don't know if she's ever going to get better. But I do know I'm not going anywhere. For better or worse. I love them both (even though I sometimes wish it was legal to taser her a little).
