Title: Doubt about possibility of BPD
Post by: Copper on January 13, 2019, 11:03:01 PM
So, first time posting. First time in a relationship like this. Sometimes it feels like I am wrong about believing my partner to be on the BPD spectrum, but when it hits, I know... .when I hear the stories and the examples I rewind over the past five years and say yes! And I struggle with codependency, so it all begins to make more sense and I can loosen up on blaming myself.  It's been quite a ride. I'm wondering if anyone else fluctuates like I do... .yes, they have it... .no, they don't... .

Hi and welcome.

What you describe with the changes in your thoughts about partner's behaviors is not uncommon.  It can be hard to get a grasp of things and to accept them but it gets better.

Can you tell us more about your relationship?  What led to your finding out about BPD?
