Title: 10 things about BPD from The Mighty
Post by: Daisy123 on January 23, 2019, 06:57:54 PM
 :hi:
Someone just emailed me this link from The Mighty. It’s from the perspective of someone who has BPD

https://themighty.com/2015/10/what-you-need-to-know-about-borderline-personality-disorder/

I’ve found myself going back to it again and again. It seems to help me better understand where my DD is struggling with.

Let me know what you think.

I think the writer has done a great job of giving her perspective and I think it's helpful to those trying to understand. It's a quick read with a ton of insight.

I've read similar blog posts from other writers with BPD. When I say, "similar," I mean the main points made in this post are also present in other posts. It does help to know that the behaviors, feelings, thoughts, and actions of a pwBPD are BECAUSE of BPD. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone but me.

Hi Daisy.
Thank you for that read... I will re-read it until it becomes part of my new dictionary... I want so much to be in a place of understanding with mY D...
As a former counselor I always tried to be in a place of understanding of why they got the way they did...
Thanks
