Title: How do I calm my partner when he lashes out? Post by: Savanah on January 28, 2019, 10:10:36 PM I am brand new to this. SO I am not really sure how it works but I am trying to figure out calming strategies to use with my partner when he lashes out at me so cruelly when I know he is not mad at me. He can be so angry and irrational. If I am calm, he gets more upset, If I yell at him he gets more upset, If I am sad he gets more upset... .sometimes nothing can calm him down. I don't know how to respond. suggestions?
