Title: Family members with BPD
Post by: Lulu13 on February 02, 2019, 02:18:29 PM
Not sure if I am checking the right boxes but finally after more than 29 years of living with someone that has BPD I was told to read a book called Stop Walking on Eggshells and it all began to make sense ! I cried through most of the book realizing this is what I have been living with for so long ! I have already decided over the years to do some of the helpful tips to help myself ! Not sure from day to day if I am staying or leaving and for some reason after all these years I am still here

Hi Lulu13 and welcome to the family  :hi:

Reading Stop Walking on Egshells was an important turning point for many of our members. It's such a relive to find out that there is an explanation for our loved one's behavior and this board is a great place to connect with people who get it and learn about tools and strategies that can help us to better navigate our relationships.
Glad you found us!

Is there a specific issue you are struggeling with at the moment?
Would you mind to share some of the tips that helped you the most?
