Title: A familiar story Post by: Steps31 on February 06, 2019, 03:28:52 AM So I just got back from a trip where I went to see a college friend.
While there, I heard that one of our other college friends is in a difficult marriage. This guy was wild, would mess with anybody in the world, and challenged all levels of authority, and now pretty much can't leave the house from what I heard. Yes, this is hearsay and I haven't been in touch directly, but hearing that his spouse would freak out if he wanted to go out, struck a familiar warning bell. Sounds like he's becoming isolated, which is not good... . Just goes to show that anyone, no matter how head strong, can fall into an unhealthy relationship dynamic if they're not aware of what's going on and don't have the tools and knowledge to navigate successfully. Yes. It also shows that sometimes we don't see everything there is to see in people we know.Is this a friend you would / could ever reach out to?
