I found this board after falling down a rabbit hole when I started reading "Stop Walking on Eggshells." I'd bought the book almost a year ago and it's been hiding at the bottom of my underwear drawer since. I married my husband just about 5 months ago and I'm currently staying with my mom because he locked his keys in his truck four days ago and kicked me out of the house. I love him, and I miss him and I want to go home, but I don't even know where to start.

Great to hear from you but sorry in such distressing circumstances. Life sounds like it's pretty confusing for you at the moment, but given the book has been in your drawer for a year now I guess it's been that way for a long time now. You've come to a crisis point and you're not in your home. You're safe which is great to hear. Start wherever you like and we'll catch up. Don't be afraid to spew as much detail as you can on here and we'll all do our best to catch up. The more details you give the clearer the picture we have and the better the guidance we can offer. You are not alone and the boards here have thousands of active members who likely have shared experiences.
