I don't know as if I've heard this term before. What does it mean to you? The worst case scenario usually happens when others interact with them without emotional intelligence on their part, as well.
The workshops, skills and strategies discussed within this website are ways to increase your emotional intelligence. Unfortunately, emotional intelligence isn't generally something taught in high school or lower grades. If it isn't practiced in a home setting, children tend to copy what they see and hear. (i.e. name calling, silent treatment, blaming, etc.). People who seek therapy and participate, and/or study psychology self-help books generally enhance their emotional intelligence. |
