Title: Has therapy worked
Post by: calliebeech on April 22, 2019, 10:17:16 AM
I have recently become aware of BPD and am almost positive my mother has it. If I went to therapy with her how do I tell the therapist and her that she has BPD? Do people with BPD get better from group therapy is or this a pointless idea?

hi calliebeach, and *welcome*

has your mother invited you to join a therapy session with her? about how long has your mother been seeing the therapist?

I wouldn't bring it up to your mother,  but there might be an opportunity to share your insights with a therapist later after you've established a relationship.  Whose idea is the family therapy?
