Has this escalated, or is it new? Did he start out verbally abusing you? In the past, I sought out the help of the YMCA. They have an excellent program for this situation. Is there someone you can call or visit? You don't need to handle it. Once it starts it doesn't just stop without intervention. For me, it stopped once I called the cops and had restraining orders issued. Do not let fear overcome you. Get help. Glad you shared this here, as it isn't possible to reason with someone with BPD when they are in a rage. Are you safe where you are? I agree with loyalwife. Violence is not OK and I'm so sorry you find yourself in this situation. Can you tell us a bit more about the violence? Is it aimed at you? Please keep posting and let us know how you are. |
